Take action on your vision

Take action on your vision

One question that gets asked time and again is “where am I coming up with the money to invest?” and that is a very legitimate question. It may be even more pertinent these days, but in truth it is universal to all people and all points of time. Ten years ago I was asking the same question and probably forty years ago my father was asking the same thing.

The exciting thing is that now we live in times that give more options toward pursuing this than ever before. When I was a younger man the only option I could see was looking for a second job. The choices there were working nights, off shifts or weekends. They were all legitimate choices, but they all took away from the leisure that we all really need. All work and no play, as they say, makes Jack a dull boy, but it also takes the edge off your thinking. The more time I spend at the computer, the more fuzzy my thinking becomes. It really, for me, works best if I am spending a few hours at one task, then switching to another task. Focus is one thing, but over-analyzing is the road to indecision. Not to digress too much, but I had a boss who had analysis paralysis, and that’s not where you want to be.

So how can you make more money without killing your leisure time? The internet offers a lot of legitimate sources of income that require relatively little investment of time or money. Whether you are building a website and offering your own products, working with affiliate products, building off ClickBank, Squidoo or Google Adsense, there are options. My next article will delve into this in a bit more detail.
