I have a 93 Jeep Cherokee Sport. It’s bright red and runs very well. Quite dependable vehicle.
I don’t have a car payment and I only have the barest of insurance coverage. Why do I tell you this? It certainly isn’t bragging. I don’t have a new Corvette. I do have increasing equity in my bank account.
True wealth and financial security is all about growing your net worth, not by driving new cars or having expensive vacations. Having money to invest is all about not spending money on things that don’t contribute to your happiness. The money you save is going to be the money that gives you a relaxed enjoyable lifestyle in the future.
Thought of the day… I know this is basic, but some people don’t think about how their choices effect their future. I am not saying don’t have fun or don’t drive a nice car, but make sure you are aware of how the choices you make impact your future net worth.
